Saying Goodbye to Study Abroad

Today, I said goodbye to the life I've known for the past 4 months and hopped in a cab to Heathrow Airport. With all of my worldly possessions packed in four modest suitcases, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic, sad, and excited all at once. Yes, I am so relieved this semester is over. I mean, I haven't had a home cooked meal in four months!! I'm excited to return home because I have so many things to look forward to (a trip to China, a fun internship, and seeing my friends to name a few!) But at the same time, I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to London. As I sit here in the airport lounge nursing a Gin & Tonic, I've begun to reflect on the wonderful adventure that was the past few months.

Studying abroad is such a privilege. I mean, when ever in your life do you get a chance to drop what you're doing, move to a foreign country for a few of months, and travel the world? And to be able to study fashion in one of the most stylish cities in the world was such a unique and wonderful opportunity. I'll never be able to express in words how thankful I am that my parents and my school provided me with this unique experience.

There is just no way I could summarize this semester in words, so I figured I'd do it in pictures. Here is a collection of some of my favorite moments and memories, and the people who made my time abroad so special. London, you will always have my heart.
