As much as I've missed New York over the past few weeks, I did NOT miss this freezing cold weather. I guess we've all been a little spoiled this season, since this winter has been unusually tame, but pulling out my Canada Goose this morning nearly broke my heart. I'm not prepared for Ithaca weather, and I'm praying for spring to come soon.
The one good thing about the chilly East Coast winter is the fashion. I have always favored my winter wardrobe over my summer closet. I dream about turtlenecks, sweater dresses, tall boots, and stockings all year long. The snow and harsh winds often seem unbearable, but at least I have my blanket scarves to keep me warm.

I was running around the city all day today, so I put together something cute, comfy, and chic. This Tory Burch tweed jacket is part of a two-piece suit that I absolutely adore. The picture just doesn't do it justice. This stunning bouclé coat is black, navy, and white with an eclectic brown and purple collar that screams "Tory!" It's a classic Chanel-style piece with modern bohemian twist.
My long-sleeve black sweater dress features an overlay top, which I think is such a fun added detail! I love the rib knit texture, and it most certainly keeps me warm on cold days like today!
I love playing with accessories in my looks. This Furla mini bag is a classic I've worn so many times before. I'm a sucker for these adorable bags (hence why my collection keeps growing!). I also can't seem to stay away from Tory Burch boots, and I broke in this new pair of Selden riding boots as I ran around town today (courtesy of my mother!). Additionally, my mother and I recently treated ourselves to matching Tory sunglasses. This burgundy shade is a fun pop of color during the cold winter months, and it will be perfect for sunny getaways all summer!
Although my return home is short, I'm very happy to be here! I'll be returning to campus next week, and I'm feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to take on a new semester!
