At this time tomorrow, I'll probably be somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, ready for an incredible new year and all the adventures that lie ahead. But right now, I'm still in New Jersey, and it is still 2015, so I wanted to take a moment to reflect on this year, which flew by all too quickly.
There were so many amazing events that shaped my year. From attending my first New York Fashion Week to performing for President and Mrs. Obama, 2015 was a year for the books. It was during this year that Cornell transitioned from being my college to being my home, and I made some of the greatest friendships I've ever had! I learned how to adjust to college life, which was an emotional rollercoaster for sure, and I also learned that while life isn't always fair, everything does work out in the end.
So here is to 2015: to love and loss, heartbreak and happiness, new friendships in new places, and of course, to learning new things! I want to give a special thank you to the people in my life who were by my side and supported me throughout this year... You know who you are, and I can't thank you enough for all the love, advice, and comfort you shared with me. And as for 2016, I wish for everyone to have a year full of good luck and good health!
