Living in Ithaca 10 months out of the year is great, but nothing compares to beautiful New York City. Chloe and I were so in need of a city day after our crazy fall semesters, so we reuinted in typical style: over brunch! After a delicious meal at Jack's Wife Freda, we headed over to Chelsea and snapped some great shots on Chloe's rooftop.

This time last year, I was already bundled up in my winter coat and snow boots. But with this amazing warm weather (thanks, global warming?), I've been able to wear cute coats throughout the month of December! I just love this shearling and leather coat because it's both edgy and classic. I normally pair it with faux leather leggings, but today I was in the mood to wear a skirt! Black skirts have become a staple in my wardrobe this season. I love pairing them with patterned tights, and I always find the best tights at Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom! My top is an oversized black tee, and although it didn't photograph so clearly, I twisted the bottom of the tee into a knot to give it a little more texture! I'm also wearing a fun silver statement necklace, vintage diamond earrings, and comfy black suede booties!
Chloe and I had a lot of fun playing around with my camera. I'm still trying to figure out how it works before I leave for my three-week trip to India next week, and hopefully I will be able to share lots of pics from my trip as I go!
