I think it's pretty clear at this point that Chloe and I are obsessed with desserts. Any time we're together, we try to find a new bakery or ice cream shop to try out! But yesterday, we returned to one of our all-time favorite dessert spots: Ladurée. Ladurée is a world-famous French macaron shop. Chloe first introduced Ladurée to me a few years ago, and since then, I've been ADDICTED to macarons!
While there are plenty of different macaron places in the city, Ladurée is my favorite because they have such unique flavors! My favorites include vanilla, salted caramel, and raspberry. They also have exciting seasonal flavors, and right now they are doing a partnership with one of my favorite fashion labels, Emilio Pucci.
The Pucci macaron is a limited-edition flavor that combines the tastes of Rose and Lemon. Normally, I stay away from crazy flavors like this, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to taste a macaron created by Pucci!
I picked out a vanilla, salted caramel, and Pucci macaron. The Pucci one was surprisingly delicious, but as always, salted caramel was my absolute favorite!
Ladurée has two locations in Manhattan: Madison and Soho. The Madison location always has a line out the door, but the Soho one is usally less chaotic, and it has a lot of seating space inside, so it's my preferred place to visit.
No matter how many macarons I try, I'll always find my way back to Ladurée!
