Looks: Fashion Week!

February 17, 2015

It finally happened.  I FINALLY made it to NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!! I have been dreaming about attending my first fashion show basically since I was born, and this weekend, Chloe and I lived out our dream! We attended the Lacoste FW '15 show on Saturday morning and, of course, we wore our most fashionable outfits! Even though I love wearing all black, for my NYFW outfit, I wanted to stand out with a little bit of color!

I purchased this adorable faux fur coat from Zara over winter break, and I'm obsessed with it.  Surprisingly, it kept me SO warm even though it was freezing in the city this weekend. This coat is definitely a statement piece, and it's great for a day running around to city or for an evening event. Although this coat is no longer on sale, you can get a similar one at Forever 21.

My jeweled three-quarter sleeved sweater is from the LOFT. When I bought it, I loved it so much that I also got it in navy! It's a really simple sweater, and it is very lightweight. I love this sweater because it can be causal or fancy! For fashion week, I paired it with these KUT from the Kloth Corduroy Pants. The red color of the pants matches the rose color of the rhinestones, and I really love how those two shades compliment each other.

In keeping with my red and pink color scheme, I wore my favorite handbag, my pink Furla Candy Bag Satchel. This was a great choice for fashion week because it garners a lot of attention. My Furla got so many compliments, and I felt like a true fashionista. For shoes, I wore my Tarulli Over-the-knee Boots from Tory Burch's Fall/Winter 2014 runway show! This was the first time I wore these boots for an extended period of time, and (considering I walked over 7 miles in them) they're actually quite comfortable!

I'll be posting more about my amazing NYFW experience later this week, and be sure to look out for some posts written by my guest blogger & best friend, Chloe Shapiro!

xo!
