This summer, I developed an obsession for maxi skirts. I wore them all the time everywhere I went, and when autumn came I became quiet emotional as I packed away my skirts until the spring.
Then, I realized, just because summer is over doesn't mean I have to put away my beloved maxi skirts! I can transform them into fabulous winter outfits too!

It's important to make sure you wear winter-colored maxi skirts. These colors include black, grey, dark green, brown, maroon, navy, and deep purple. While bright pinks, oranges, and yellows might make great summer skirts, they aren't always the best option when it comes to winter style. But, if you find an unconventional color that you think works, take the risk and go for it! One of my favorite ways to wear maxi skirts in the winter is by adding a nice scarf and a long sleeve shirt. This is a nice, casual style that still has a bohemian vibe. A knitted infinity scarf with adds the perfect wintery feel to your summery skirt, and it will keep you warm in the cold weather!

Another look I love is pairing a maxi skirt with a trendy winter jacket. I especially love this first look, because the patterned maxi skirt is so cool, and the style of the leather jacket is really unique!

Finally, wear a maxi skirt with a chunky sweater on top for a cozy and comfy look!

I'll conclude this post with a great quote I saw on Under A Veil while doing some fashion research:
''In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.'' -- Albert Camus
